4. Service Agreement

Please read and accept the terms of service.

1. Service Authorization

The Client authorizes Nexonic PCS to perform diagnosis, repair, upgrades, and/or performance tuning on the computer equipment and components provided. Services are strictly limited to hardware functionality, operating system stability, and standard software installation. Nexonic PCS does not provide in-game coaching, account recovery services (e.g., for Steam, Battle.net, or other platforms), or support for third-party game modifications, cheats, or unauthorized software.

2. Liability & Risk

Client acknowledges that the equipment is presented in a used condition. Nexonic PCS is not responsible for pre-existing hardware failures that may manifest during standard diagnostic stress testing (e.g., a failing GPU that ceases to function under load).

2.1. Overclocking and Performance Tuning Waiver

If performance tuning or overclocking services are requested, the Client acknowledges that operating hardware beyond manufacturer specifications carries inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, system instability, reduced hardware lifespan, and potential component failure. By authorizing these services, the Client releases Nexonic PCS from any liability for hardware failure, damage, or data corruption resulting from requested overclocking or tuning.

2.2. Manufacturer Warranties

Client understands that certain services performed by Nexonic PCS (such as case modifications, delidding CPUs, or GPU disassembly for thermal paste application) may void existing manufacturer warranties. The Client accepts full responsibility for any warranties voided as a result of requested services.

3. Data Protection

Nexonic PCS is not responsible for data loss. The Client agrees that it is their sole responsibility to back up all personal data, software, game save files, and settings prior to submitting the device for service. While technicians will not browse Client data, the Client acknowledges that file names or directory structures may be inadvertently viewed during the course of repair. We strongly recommend logging out of all personal accounts (e.g., Discord, Steam, web browsers) prior to drop-off.

4. Payment & Abandonment

We utilize high-quality replacement parts for all repairs. If a specific brand or model of component is required (e.g., "only ASUS ROG components"), this must be specified in writing and may affect pricing and service timelines. A diagnostics fee is due at drop-off, which will be credited toward the final repair cost if service is approved. Full payment is due upon completion of service. Any equipment left for more than 30 days after notification of completion will be considered abandoned and may be sold or recycled to recoup service costs in accordance with Texas state laws.
